In the spring, summer and autumn of 2010, Karl-Heinz Mauermann made excursions into Kreativ.Quartieren, a project in the Cultural Capital context.

As a result, he created panoramas showing a subjective view of the Cultural Capital.

Starting point is the Zollverein mine, shaft XII, in Essen.
Starting here, one may explore three further urban sites, in Duisburg, Marxloh, and Bochum, Victoriaviertel.
